I’m advocating a USA Swimming boycott of all FINA events until FINA does its job. Already told FINA’s US member (of the 22 on the Bureau) to watch out for the wave of anti-FINA/anti-swimming citizen twittery/facebook groups, etc. Why backtrack after FINA had already taken the heat? Certainly looks like they caved to the arms merchants. College swimming in US already under duress. National teams picked based on performances this summer. High school swimming has become all about the rich. FINA just accelerated all of those trends.
