@ Jah – Of course, if NVSL had participated last year on RfTW then the writers may know more about them and have contacts for stories. Rather than complaining, why don’t you write a story and submit it – or better yet, suggest a story. Complaining doesn’t accomplish anything. There are amazing, talented swimmers on both sides of the Potomac – in AAA high schools and AA high schools. They all work hard and it’s nice to see them recognized. I like seeing some new names and faces this year – that’s half the fun. Sit back, chill and enjoy the summer – the kids are having fun.

There isn’t much of a difference between MoCo and NVSL. The argument could go on for hours.
They are both great leagues. Obviously Conger, Ledecky, etc. would make A meets, that isn’t even questionable. Pretty much, MoCo has RMSC, and NVSL has CUBU – and that means many more hours of arguing: RMSC and CUBU or both top-of-the line teams.

Excuse me, but im pretty sure Jack Conger was top 2 in the country. Fox and Friedland went to Olympic Trials. MoCo has amazing swimmers. What are you talking about?

Great story; this is what swim team is all about for most people except Jah. He’s got a point, I bet kids like conger, ledecky, friedland, fox, stewart wouldn’t have made A meets in nvsl.

Your kidding right? This is a great summer league team story. It was also great to see the Montgomery County coaches long course meet get some coverage, very fast times there.

Stop whining, nvsl has and will continue to get press but if you just want to read about nvsl swimmers, go to their web page, (nvslnews.com or swimninja.com)
Im sure you will find your kids name in there somewhere…

Personally, I love hearing about new kids , new teams and new stories. Keep up the good work RTW.

What is with the lack of coverage of the NVSL which has the best swimmers in the area by far? I’ll put the national rankings, and “time in water” of the local NVSL swimmers up against MOCO any day of the week. not even close!
