RFTW is excited to bring our readers a new feature, Behind the Blocks: Training for Trials.
Behind the Blocks will follow elite level swimmers over the next seven months as they prepare for the U.S. Olympic Trials, June 25-July 2 in Omaha, Neb.
Our featured swimmers grew up in the Washington D.C. area, competed for
their community pools and high schools, and trained with Potomac Valley swim clubs before heading off to top NCAA swim programs.
Each week we'll post training updates as our featured performers prepare for national and collegiate competitions, ending in Omaha with the Olympic Trials, the fastest and most competitive swim meet in the country.
Next week we'll be posting swimmers bios, as well as pictures and fun facts about the athletes.
Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at the hard work and dedication of athletes trying to make their Olympic dream come true.
