PVS has recognized the following individuals who coaches selected as outstanding PVS athletes for each age (i.e., 9, 10, 11, etc.) from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016:

9 year olds

10 year olds

11 year olds

PVS also recognized the following distance swimmers who had the fastest times from September 1, 2015 to August 31, 2016:

Women

  • 800 Meter Free:  Katie Ledecky (NCAP) – 8:04.79 at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro
  • 1000 Yard Free:  Katie Ledecky (NCAP) – 8:59.65 at the 2015 NCAP Invitational

Men

  • 1500 Meter Free:  Andrew Gemmell (NCAP) – 15:14.18 at the 2016 Arena Pro – Austin, Texas
  • 1650 Yard Free:  Andrew Gemmell (NCAP) – 15:02.88 at the 2015 NCAP Invitational

And finally, PVS recognized the following 18 and under swimmers in the distance events above:

Women

  • 800 Meter Free: Madelyn Donohoe (FISH) – 8:40.44

Men

  • 1500 Meter Free:  Matthew Hirschberger (NCAP) – 15:28.37
  • 1650 Yard Free:  Lane Stone (NCAP) – 15:18.56
