Andrew Wilson Carries Emory to NCAA Division III Title

By Reach for the Wall staff.

This past weekend, between covering NCSA Junior Nationals in Orlando, Florida, and the Women’s NCAA Division I Championships in Indianapolis, we fell short on our coverage of the 2017 NCAA Division III Championships (March 15-18) in Shenandoah, Texas.

That said, we at least want to highlight the performance of Andrew Wilson (Emory University / Bethesda, Md / Phillips Academy) who powered Emory University to its first national title.  Wilson was named Male Swimmer of the Meet after winning and setting new D3 records in 100 breast (50.94), the 200 breast (1:50.80), and the 200 IM (1:44.18), and swimming the breaststroke leg on Emory’s record-breaking 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay.
