A little snow didn't slow down northern Virginia's top teams, as perennial powerhouses concluded their regular season with wins. Maryland schools were forced to cancel their meets due to icy roads from the storm that hit Friday night.
The Washington Metropolitan Prep School Swim and Dive League boys' swimming championship was held Wednesday evening at Georgetown Prep after the snow delayed the meet several times. In a back-and-forth affair, Georgetown Prep distanced itself late from rival Gonzaga to claim the win with 437 points, ahead of the Eagles 399.5 and DeMatha's 376. FULL RESULTS ATTACHED!
