Freshmen all across the region impressed this week, in the first and second rounds of championship meets in Maryland and Virginia, with All American times and record breaking swims. Read round-ups from all across the area in this week’s wrap-up.
Good Counsel beat paired Stone Ridge School and Gonzaga College High School, 116-70 and 94-91, respectively, with 1st-place performances by several area stars, including three Olympic Trials qualifiers and a recent National Age Group record holder.
Expect plenty of close races at Saturday’s MCSL Division A divisional meet and several tight battles as the NVSL dual meet season draws to a close.
