Janet Hu reset two state records to lead the Oakton girls to a second straight Virginia AAA swimming and diving championship while Robinson topped Madison in the boys’ meet.

Oakton’s boys edged Robinson by four points to win the Concorde District title for the second straight year. The Cougar girls dominated from start to finish.

On a night where few races were won without achieving an All-American cut time, Oakton’s boys’ and girls’ teams outlasted the competition to once again stand tall as the AAA Northern Region champions. Oakton’s boys beat Woodson, 281.5 to 250, at Oakmarr RECenter, despite not winning a single event until the final relay of the night.

Oakton rolled at the 2012 Concorde District championship meet. Janet Hu was sensation for the Cougars as was brother Philip Hu, Conor Murphy, Brian Phillips, and Carter Sharer.
