    Results are now available in box score form with links to all of the swimmers who participated in the following meets (these times are also filtered among the area's top times):

    Metro Championships, as well as the Maryland 3A/4A and 1A/2A/3A state championships; Maryland regions, including: 4A/3A North, 4A/3A South, 4A/3A Central, 3A/2A/1A South, 3A/2A/1A Central

    The VSIS championships, the Virginia AAA, and A-AA state championships, Northern Region, Northwest Region, Concorde District, Liberty District, National District and Patriot District championships.

    Also the Montgomery County County Championships and Division I , Division II , Division III and Division IV meets.

    Farther back, we have the WMPSSDL boys and girls championships, Anne Arundel County Championships, and the National Catholic High School Championships.

    All of these results except for the AAA state championships (because it was competed in a meter pool) are filtered among the area's top times and on those teams' respective pages.

    Team pages track divisionals

    Churchill has a complete update from its boys' win and girls' second-place finish in the Mo. Co. Division I championships; As does Gaithersburg from it's 2nd-place girls and 3rd-place boys in Division III; Whitman has posted links to SEVEN videos from divisionals; Rockville has an account of their boys' third-place finish and girls' fourth-place showing from Division III; and Blake has a complete write-up from their Division II exploits.

    Meet results and top times are now available!! See the area’s top times here and the meet results that have been submitted so far here. To find your school click here. To see a sample meet result click here. And to see a sample individual results page click here. If you don't see your meet results, there are now two ways for team representatives (coaches, athletes, parents, league administrators, fans) from around the area to send them to us.
    It requires team manager or meet manager, but it's a very simple process. Read more about it HERE.
    
    
    The school pages will not only display your schedules and results, but will allow registered users to write about their team and post photos and videos. We'll display the best of those posts on the right here on our homepage.

    Season Stats

    See how your season broke down by gender, age and stroke. Go to your team's page and click on the "Season Statistics" link at the bottom of your results and schedule on the right-hand side.  Swimmers can also compare their season's best times with others from across the region. They are listed for each event just below the top 100 times from the last week of the season.

  • Men's NCAA Championship Psych Sheets Released
    The NCAA released its psych sheets for the men's swimming and diving championships yesterday. The championships will be held in Columbus, Ohio at the end of March.
  • Speedo extends deal with Coughlin
    Speedo extended its 6-year partnership with 11-time Olympic medalist Natalie Coughlin through 2013. Coughlin, who performed on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars,” returned to competition after an 18-month hiatus at the recent Austin Grand Prix.
  • Diving Grand Prix Set
    The AT&T U.S.A. Diving Grand Prix will be held at the Ft. Lauderdale Aquatic Complex in Florida May 6-9. It will be the only U.S. leg of the six-country FINA Grand Prix circuit.
  • Vollmer, Soni on Top in Swimming Grand Prix
    Dana Vollmer won the 200-meter butterfly and the 100-meter free at the second stop of the USA Swimming Grand Prix in Austin, Texas. Rebecca Soni swam a terrific time in the 200-meter breast, finishing in 2:22.91.
  • Phelps Sets American Record in Annapolis
    Michael Phelps broke his own American record in the 200-yard butterfly this weekend at the Maryland State Championships at the U.S. Naval Academy. Phelps finished in 1:39.65.

  • Arena Signs Deal With Cal
    Arena has signed a deal to supply technical equipment for the University of California's men's swimming and diving teams for the next two seasons.
  • Phelps To Compete in Annapolis This Weekend
    Michael Phelps will compete in the 400-meter individual medley, the 200-meter IM, the 200-meter butterfly and the 500-meter freestyle at the Maryland Swimming Championships at the Naval Academy in Annapolis this weekend.
  • Cal State Northridge Ends Swim Program
    Because of budget problems, Cal State Northridge Athletic Director Rick Mazzuto announced yesterday that the school will cut the men's and women's swimming programs. He said that when swimming scholarships end, the school will save $300,000 a year.
  • Jones May Host Olympic Qualifying Swim Meets at Cowboys Stadium
    Dallas Cowboys' owner Jerry Jones is considering potentially hosting Olympic qualifying swimming meets at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Tex. He may also host hockey events at the 80,000-seat stadium.
  • China Prevails in Start of FINA Diving Grand Prix
    China won six of eight gold medals at the first meet of the 2010 FINA Diving Grand Prix in Rostock, Germany. Thirteen-year-old Yadan Hu won golds in both the women's individual and synchronized 10-meter platform events.
  • Coughlin To Jump Back Into the Pool Next Month
    Three-time Olympic gold medalist Natalie Coughlin will compete for the first time since the 2008 Beijing Olympics at the USA Swimming Grand Prix in Austin, Tx. from March 4-6.
  • Stanford's Smit Breaks American Record in 200 IM
    Julia Smit of Stanford timed 1:52.31 in the women's 200-meter individual medley at the Pac-10 Conference Swimming Championships, eclipsing both the American and collegiate record of 1:52.79, set during the 2009 NCAA Championships.
  • Denniston Named Coaching Fellow for U.S. Paralympics
    U.S. Paralympics, a subdivision of the U.S. Olympic Committee announced that Dave Denniston will be a coaching fellow for the Paralympic Swimming Resident Program at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
  • Phelps To Be Youth Olympic Games Ambassador
    Michael Phelps will become the first-ever ambassador to the Youth Olympic Games. Phelps will encourage youngsters across the world to participate in the Games, which take place for the first time this year in Singapore.
  • Phelps To Quit Olympic Swimming After 2012
    Michael Phelps announced that the 2012 Olympics will be his last as a swimmer, and that he will quit swimming altogether when he turns 30 in 2015. He refused to say how many races he will swim in at the Summer Olympics in London.
