Yorktown nearly doubled their nearest competitors in points on Saturday night at the 2012 National District Championship. Washington-Lee boys repeated in a total team effort.

Yorktown girls’ team (7-0) are again undefeated this season, having not lost a regular season or district championship meet in over a decade. On the boys’ side, an undefeated Washington-Lee boys’ team are the reigning champions and are not ready to relinquish their crown. Events begin each night at 5:30 p.m. at the brand-new Yorktown Pool in Arlington. Swimming preliminaries will be on Friday, Jan. 27, with finals the next night, Jan. 28.
