Madison boys, Oakton girls take Northern Region swimming and diving titles

Preview: Patriot District Championship Meet
Thursday, January 26th, 2012RFTW’s look at this weekend’s Va. AAA Patriot District Championship Swim & Dive Meet, taking place January 26-28 at Lee District RECenter. Woodson is the run away favorite to repeat as boys’ champions, but if the past is any indication of the outcome for the girls, the meet will not be over until the final relay is over.

Weekly High School Wrap-up: Fairfax, Prince William, Loudoun meets beat weather; Maryland meets cancelled
Monday, January 23rd, 2012A little snow didn’t slow down northern Virginia’s top teams, as perennial powerhouses concluded their regular season with wins. Maryland schools were forced to cancel their meets due to icy roads from the storm that hit Friday night.
