Yorktown girls' team (7-0) are again undefeated this season, having not lost a regular season or district championship meet in over a decade. On the boys' side, an undefeated Washington-Lee boys' team are the reigning champions and are not ready to relinquish their crown. Events begin each night at 5:30 p.m. at the brand-new Yorktown Pool in Arlington. Swimming preliminaries will be on Friday, Jan. 27, with finals the next night, Jan. 28. A little snow didn't slow down northern Virginia's top teams, as perennial powerhouses concluded their regular season with wins. Maryland schools were forced to cancel their meets due to icy roads from the storm that hit Friday night.
